The Rothenbach mountain pasture is a part of the hotel and can be reached on hiking trails starting at the Hirschen. Awarded by the Gault Millau with 1 toque, the restaurant serves regional specialities and Austrian cuisine, as well as a wide selection of Austrian wines in the traditional parlours, dating from the 18th century. A ski bus stops in front of the hotel and takes guests to various ski areas. Guests can choose between a wide range of DVDs. In winter, the ski slopes end right at the doorstep. Free WiFi is available throughout the building. From 1 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included in the rate with a minimum stay of 3 nights. The garden includes a sunbathing lawn, a fountain, and a herbal garden. They are located in the historic main building and in the quiet Wälderhaus annexe. Focusing on sustainability, the hotel also features 2 charging stations for e-cars. A DVD player is available in the rooms or can be hired free of charge at the reception.
